  • Zuppa Geo Navigation Technologies signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Corporation (TNUAVC) to develop a structured drone pilot training programme for Agniveers, serving defence personnel and those transitioning out of the armed forces.
  • The programme will initially launch at the Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington, Coonoor, training 200 personnel in the first batch and around 1,000 annually, with training commencing in October 2026.
  • The four-week programme covers UAV flight simulation, rotorcraft operations and aerodynamics, hybrid operations, drone maintenance, risk assessment and safety management, assembly, practical flying, mission planning and DGCA regulations.
  • Eligible participants can obtain the DGCA-approved Small Category Remote Pilot Certificate for drones weighing above 2 kg and up to 25 kg.
