IIT (BHU), Varanasi, signed an MoU with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, for joint research and innovation in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility.
The MoU was signed on September 8 at the Electric Vehicle Center (EVC), University of Michigan, by IIT-BHU director Prof Amit Patra and Prof Todd Allen, associate dean for Research at the University of Michigan.
Prof Rajeev Kumar Singh, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Coordinator of the Centre for Transportational E-Mobility (CTEM), presented two sanctioned ongoing projects under the IIT-BHU-University of Michigan collaboration.
The two institutions agreed to constitute a Materials Research Team to develop a long-term white paper outlining potential research directions in advanced materials.
