Andhra Pradesh Police Unveil Centralised Drone Monitoring Portal and SafeStay App for Tech-Driven Policing

• Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta launched the AI-based Centralised Drone Monitoring Portal (CDMP) and unveiled the logo of the SafeStay app at the Guntur SP office on 22 September 2026.
• The SafeStay app will provide police with real-time information on guests staying in hotels and paying guest accommodations across Andhra Pradesh to aid public safety, crime prevention and investigation.
• The CDMP enables police to monitor live feeds from drones deployed across Andhra Pradesh through a single dashboard, using AI-based monitoring, advanced analytics and role-based access controls without relying on public streaming platforms.
• Guntur district SP Vakul Jindal, senior police officials, hotel industry representatives, technical experts and academicians attended the launch programme.
