TATA Projects and Canadian firm MDS Aero Support Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop and deliver advanced aero-engine testing infrastructure in India.
Under the MoU, TATA Projects will oversee core infrastructure works including civil, structural, MEP, HVAC, high-temperature exhaust, cooling-water and site facilities, while MDS will provide design, engineering, supply, integration, commissioning and lifecycle support of gas turbine engine test systems.
MDS Aero Support Corporation, established in 1985, has executed gas turbine engine testing projects across more than 27 nations and is already serving as lead technology provider and systems integrator for an advanced twin-cell aero-engine development test facility in India.
