Goa launches governance AI hackathon, Granthika records initiative and rural AI report at Panaji conclave

Key facts

• The Goa AI Hackathon was launched at the Goa AI Tech Conclave 2026 in Panaji to encourage technology-based solutions for governance and public service delivery through a phased implementation strategy.
• Granthika is designed to digitise and preserve historical, legal and manuscript records through citizen participation, including elderly people.
• The conclave launched the Living Library of Goa Rural AI report by Hyprlocl and felicitated 12 Drone Didis who completed foundational drone training and are progressing to advanced courses.
• The first batch of 10 AI trainees trained by TAWAI Studio was showcased.
