Vice President C P Radhakrishnan to Open India International Water Week in New Delhi on September 22

• Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the ninth India International Water Week in New Delhi on September 22, 2026.
• The five-day event, themed 'Climate Resilient Water Management', runs from September 22 to 26 and is organised by the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
• The Netherlands and Germany will participate as partner countries, with 14 states as partner states and six central ministries and departments as partner ministries and departments.
• The programme will feature 10 major forums, including the Ministerial Plenary, Global Water Leaders' Plenaries, Country Forums, Water Leaders' Forums, Practitioners' Forums and Thematic Forums, besides Startup, Youth and Industrial Forums.
• An international exhibition and technology showcase will be held from September 22 to 25, and the second International WASH Conference, organised by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, will run from September 22 to 24.
• The deliberations will culminate in a valedictory session on September 25, followed by study tours on September 26.
