Tata Electronics Signs 16 MoUs at Semicon India 2026, Announces 363-Acre Vendor Park in Dholera

• Tata Electronics signed the maximum number of MoUs at Semicon India 2026, with 16 agreements planned with players from Europe, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and India, CEO Randhir Thakur said.
• The company announced a 363-acre Vendor Park in Dholera, Gujarat, where suppliers can acquire land with plug-and-play infrastructure including power, utilities, and roads.
• Tata Electronics has brought together more than 450 ecosystem partners in Dholera spanning construction, equipment, chemicals, and materials for its fab.
• Named partners include Nexperia and BESI (Europe), JSR, Fujifilm, Sumitomo (Japan), Kelington (Malaysia), Ascendas First Space (Singapore), and L&T Semiconductors, Inox Air Products, and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (India).
• The Dholera fab and the Assam packaging facility are on track to meet scheduled commitments made to the government.
• Under the India Semiconductor Mission, formed five years ago, 12 factories are at different stages of completion and India is already exporting Made in India chips globally.
• India's electronics industry grew from ₹2 lakh crore in 2014 to over ₹13 lakh crore in 2026.
• Tata Electronics has created over 1.50 lakh direct jobs, with 65 per cent women in its workforce; each semiconductor job creates 10 ecosystem jobs.
