Regional Workshop Under DISHA 2.0 Scheme Held in Goa by Department of Justice on September 21

• The Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, organized a Regional Workshop under the DISHA (Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice) 2.0 Scheme on 21 September 2026 at the University Auditorium, India International University of Legal Education & Research (IIULER), Goa.
• The Governor of Goa was the Chief Guest, with the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice and Goa's Minister for PWD, Captain of Ports & Legal Metrology also expected to attend.
• Key highlights included a showcase of the best reels from the 'Nyaya Prabodh: Awakening to Justice' campaign – Know Your Rights in 90 Seconds, and the launch of a Slogan Competition under Nyaya Prabodh.
• The workshop featured a documentary on DISHA 2.0 achievements in Goa and live interactions with Tele-Law beneficiaries, Panel Lawyers, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and Nyaya Sahayaks.
• Stakeholders included representatives from Central and State Governments, Common Service Centres (CSCs), the Ministry of Rural Development, and State law institutions.
• The Department of Justice advances equal access to justice through initiatives such as Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Legal Literacy and Legal Awareness Programmes, and VIDHI-Sanjeevani.
