Music Composer Shantanu Moitra Wins National Lata Mangeshkar Samman 2026

• Music composer Shantanu Moitra will receive the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman 2026 for music direction at a ceremony in Indore on September 28, the birth anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar.
• The award is given by the Madhya Pradesh Culture Department and carries a cash prize of ₹5 lakh along with a citation.
• Instituted in 1984, the award alternates between music direction and playback singing.
