MoEFCC Launches India Net Zero Portal and NAPCC Dashboard on World Ozone Day 2026

• The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) launched the India Net Zero Portal and the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) Dashboard in Mumbai on September 16, 2026, on World Ozone Day 2026.
• Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Kirti Vardhan Singh launched the two digital platforms.
• The Net Zero Portal allows Indian entities to voluntarily register and disclose Net Zero commitments, report greenhouse gas emissions, declare targets and provide annual progress updates.
• The portal encourages disclosure of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, while Scope 3 emissions reporting remains voluntary.
