- The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 29, 2026 to strengthen the Statistical Business Register (SBR).
- The MoU enables sharing of unit-wise Udyam Registration data from the MSME Ministry with MoSPI through a two-way API, supporting preparation of the National Statistical Business Register (NSBR).
