Kerala to Hold Three-Day ‘Reimagining Keralam’ Roundtable for Implementation Roadmap of 73 Budget Projects

Key facts

• Kerala will hold a three-day ‘Reimagining Keralam’ roundtable conference from September 16 to 18, 2026, in Thiruvananthapuram to prepare implementation plans, resources, timelines and financial models for 73 major projects announced in the State Budget 2026-27.
• The roundtable, organised under the theme “Ideas, Projects, Actions”, will bring together more than 40 government departments and agencies along with ministers, bureaucrats, experts, investors and other stakeholders.
• Chief Minister V D Satheesan will inaugurate the programme, and Industries, Commerce, IT and AI Minister P K Kunhalikutty will deliver the keynote address.
• The first day will focus on industrial and technology initiatives including Mission Samudra, investor-friendly consortiums, industrial corridors and Artificial Intelligence, while the second day will cover social development, tourism, startups, transport and disaster management.
• A key outcome will be a Draft Project Scope Document for each programme, which after approval will form the basis for Terms of Reference, Requests for Proposals, feasibility studies and Detailed Project Report preparation.
