ISRO and European Space Agency Renew Cooperation Agreement Through January 2032

• The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the European Space Agency (ESA) extended their Cooperative Agreement until January 8, 2032, via an exchange of letters signed in Paris on September 10, 2026, on the sidelines of the International Space Summit.
• The original agreement came into force in January 2002 and covered cooperation in Earth observation, satellite navigation, space science and mission operations support.
• The renewed framework adds new areas including space weather, human and robotic exploration, and sustainability of outer space activities.
