The Indian Air Force (IAF) will host the second edition of Exercise Tarang Shakti, its premier multinational air exercise, at Jodhpur in Rajasthan from September 26 to October 12, 2026.
The first edition of Tarang Shakti was held in 2024 in two phases at Sulur in Tamil Nadu and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, involving air forces of Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Greece, Singapore, Spain, the UAE, the UK and the US.
The 2026 edition aims to enhance interoperability, enable exchange of operational practices and conduct complex aerial missions, and follows the India-Japan air combat exercise Veer Guardian 2026 at Jodhpur, which concludes on September 22.
Exercise Tarang Shakti also provides the IAF a platform to demonstrate and operate its indigenous and frontline aircraft alongside foreign platforms.
