Amit Shah to Open 3rd National ANTF Conference in New Delhi on September 22, 2026

• Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the 3rd National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) heads of states and Union Territories in New Delhi on September 22, 2026.
• The two-day conference on September 22 and 23, 2026 is organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and will be attended by ANTF heads from 36 states and Union Territories.
• The conference is based on the theme 'United Resolve, Shared Responsibility' and focuses on targets in the Vision Document on Narcotics Control (2026-2029).
• The Vision Document rests on four strategic pillars: enforcement, intelligence and operations; precursors and synthetic drugs control; demand and harm reduction; and capacity building and coordination.
• Eight technical sessions are planned, covering topics such as institutional mechanisms, dismantling cartels, demand reduction, precursors and clan labs, illicit cultivation destruction, and darknet and crypto investigation.
• At the event, Amit Shah will release anti-drug Television Commercials, lay foundation stones for new NCB Zone complexes in Lucknow and Dehradun, launch a revamped NCB website, and felicitate the best-performing ANTF.
